re: SilverBillet's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

How much further does your new 20x9 wheels set out from the original stock wheel with the Cooper Zeon tires? Do you have any more pics of the new wheel set up. Trying to decide if I can get away with just the Cooper Zeon tires to get the bolder stance I am looking for or if I will need to go to the wider rim/offset.

The 20x9 wheels have a more aggressive offset than the stock wheels so they sit almost 34mm further away from the center of the car.

Coopers alone will give you a slightly more aggressive look but nothing like swapping to wheels with a lower offset.

re: SilverBillet's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

The weather has been warmer here in the Chicago area so I decided to swap out for my summers. I purchased another set of Goliath wheels and mounted Hankook Ventus ST RH06 295/45/20. I snapped one pic which is below right after I swapped them out which is before the suspension completely settled.

FYI ...I weighed each of the wheel combos I've had and thought you'd all be interested.

285/50R20 Cooper Zeon LTZ w/OEM Altitude wheels 20x8 = 80lbs
285/50R20 Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1 w/ FR Goliath 20x9 = 78lbs
295/45R20 Hankook Ventus ST RH06 w/ FR Goliath 20x9 = 73lbs

That looks great man...like 2String1 said, You got any more pics?

It's amazing you can go to a wider tire & rim & it weighs less that the stock wheels with the quasi AT tire.

Where did you get your Goliath wheels? Are they matte black or polished black. Great looking setup.

re: SilverBillet's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

One last question............What are your thoughts on the difference between the 295/45/20 tire on the 20x9 Goliath wheel vs the 285/50/20 tire on the same wheel? How much is that 295 sticking out on the front wheel well. Any rubbing with either setup on the 20x9 wheel?

So do you have 2 sets of FR Goliaths 20x9 or do you mount the winter tires once the snow falls?
