MOFSTEEL...do you know if this Goliath wheel 29x9 your talking about will fit my 2012 Overland with Brembo brakes. What offset would I need to look stock?

MOFSTEEL's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

That video is a good guide if you've never done it before. One thing I did differently was move the entire PCM out of the way (unclips from shroud the fuse panel is attached to) versus disconnecting it as seen in the video.

That's good to hear. I've been debating wether to go with HIDs or these bulbs. What do you think these look like compared to factory HIDs? I know they say 4000k and most factory HIDs are 4300k.

Also have you done any interior LEDs? If so what brand did you go with.

Apples to Oranges.

Upgrading the bulbs is about $70.
Swapping to HID can run you $1500 if you can get a good deal on headlights and find a harness.
Light output will be better with the HID's.

No LEDs in the interior. I prefer my interior lights to be dim.

re: SilverBillet's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

Mof quick question about the fog lights I'am looking to swap my chrome bezels for the gloss black ones. When you pull the liner over where you able to gain full access to back of the bezels. As I tried to do this swap yesterday but did not pull the liner. Just reached up from underneath the liner with no luck. I was unable to remove the 2 clips in front of the tires that hold the fender flares and the liner. They are the ones that have the little hole in the middle of them. I reached behind and they seemed like they are in there pretty solid. I didn't want to force them to much so I just gave up on the swap until I could get some advice. Are those 2 clips very hard to remove and When you removed them where you able to reuse them or do you need to get new ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah I assumed that much as far as the comparison. And I was referring more to an aftermarket HID kit in the factory housing rather than replacing the entire assembly. Would cost $150+/-

Yeah I saw precisionled's kit. It's just way to expensive for 15 LEDs. I found all the interior bulb numbers (mainly 194) and just ordered from a reputable Amazon vendor. Still waiting on my vehicle to install. I even order some reverse bulbs as well for way less than their kit. Still in decided on an HID kit or replacing with Crystal Visions for the headlights/fogs.

Sorry for hijacking your thread MOFSTEEL.

Yeah I got the visor ones as well. Full interior for about $25 with free prime shipping. Gotta love Amazon.

Does the Altitude come with the LED tag lights like the Overland model does.. If not I have extra for them just curious?
