MOFSTEEL's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

The red caliper look to me is played out. Black is a great color choice, especially against the billet body and gloss black rims.

Id assume your having them stripped down and re powder coated black?

Cant wait to see the final product.

I guess my teaser wasnt much of a teaser since it was the actual finished product. I had them stripped and repainted since Brembo recommends not to powercoat their calipers. The shop where I had them done has painted countless calipers so im very confident their process is correct. I ordered the decals from eBay to which the shop added a few coats of clear.

I'm very happy with how they came out and like how the compliment the OEM+ theme.

Rotors are Centric
Rear pads are Centric
Front pads are Hawk HPS
Stoptech braided hoses all around.

I put Brembos on my Overland. I had brake dust for only the first 100 miles after that none. I had more with the OEM brakes...

What kind of pads did you use? Just curious because that's a bold statement considering how well known these brembo's are for insane amount of dust.
