The first four inches of the inside of my new exhaust tips are polished but past that looked crude and raw so I painted them with Rustoleum high temp paint. I'll have a a few new pics tomorrow.

re: SilverBillet's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

I picked up a used Taillight solutions halogen rear fog kit for a good price so installed those Friday in about 20 mins.
Removed the "Grand Cherokee" emblems from each side since it was impossible to clean around them.
Third time was a charm on the tips since I had to get one cut off and re-welded twice to get it straight. Two shops didn't even want to touch it the second time and one was a speed shop that said I should just replace it with a catback.
Pretty happy with how my Altitude looks now.

Looks good man.. I thought about removing the Grand Cherokee emblems on the door but am still undecided about it. Makes it look mucher clearner though.
And whats up with the black fuel door?

re: SilverBillet's JGC Altitude OEM + Build thread

Black fuel door is something I decided to do with some extra vinyl I had laying around. I had it on my last car for about a week but it looks more fitting on the Jeep so I may keep it a while longer.

Chrome trim I may paint down the road.
I tried vinyl and it wasn't perfect so I decided to take it off. Definitely not doing plastidip.

The black lugs ill do after the trim is done but right now I feel they keep the car balanced.

You asked about them earlier in the thread but I paid around $180 for tips and install.
I would recommend going to Valesquez Mufflers in Elgin instead of the shop I originally choose.

Again have you had any hassle for not having a front plate around here?

I know its popular to do the black lugs, but for your ride I agree to not..looks hot. If I hadn't driven two silver cars already, and the most recent for 5 yrs. billet is definitely the smoothest and perfect contrast and way I'd go...but I'm getting granite crystal. Hopefully can do some mods (with the help of yours and everyones awesome helpful posts) to make it worthy, since according to sKunK'd granite is definitely not on his list of acceptable.
