You definitely don't have to, but I did take 3/4" off mine just out of habit when lowering cars. Don't feel like i'm riding them right now with them cut but it's only been two days so far so I will update later on on how they hold up. Originally with the factory tokico's I ran them without bumpstops and that was a bad idea cause they got damaged quickly. If these for some reason don't last long I will use the biltein life warrenty replacements and run them with the full bumpstop

I'll let you know how this works out.

hey man love ur altitude, lowering it takes it to that next level, still debating if i should do it or not, concerned about the winter time in NY. Did you use lamin-x or regular tint on your tailights? some of the pics look like it has the SRT tailights on it but im not sure if its the light coming thru? thanks

No coilovers available but I don't see why lowering would be any issue because of winter. I ran mine lowered all winter long without any issues. This isn't a car where you have to worry about things like that, even lowered.

Didn't have any issues in Michigan in the winter with the jeep lowered.

Re: * Skunkd's 2015 White GC Altitude *

Srt is totally different our fronts are much higher than the SRT front fascia. I'm dropped on road magnet mids the front still has massive ground clearance.
