Keep us all posted if you run into any problems with the HID.

I'm 50/50 on ordering two kits myself... they're already added to my cart. Just need to hit place order lol

I will, all the snow and rain lately and zero issues. Work fine in auto or manual modes. Zero issues so far and I can finally ****ing see at night... Excuse my language but the stock halogens are pathetic!

I will report back if anything arises

Used a step bit to drill a perfect hole for the grommet. They sell them at harbor frieght for 20 bucks a pair or a little more at Home Depot / Loews I was able to keep the dust caps installed. At this point I didn't care anymore because the stock halogen lighting is God awful and dangerous. As much as I didn't want to drill they came out good with the stepbit. Just don't drill too large or the grommet will do nothing.

If I get condensation down the road whatever, I've had enough of halogens. I haven't owned a car with halogens in over 10 years now until this thing and it blows my mind that they aren't standard on all cars by now. (Probably never will be because led technology is emerging quickly)

So this might be a really stupid question but why are you drilling the dust cover? Are you using these lights for the low beams or for the led looking strip? I just installed these same headlight assemblies over the weekend and agree about how poor the light output is from the halogens. Again, sorry if it is a stupid question but I cannot figure it out.

Low beams. You have to pass the cables through for the HIDs

Did you have to do any drilling for the fogs or are those literally plug and play?

Sounds good. For whatever reason it makes me nervous drilling them. And you did all of this without taking the bumper off?

Re: * Skunkd's 2015 White GC Altitude *

just changed my halogens out. it took about 15 minutes for both sides. 2 plastic rivets and 1 bolt. the wheel liner is very flexible and you can push it out of the way, then your lookin right at the back of the fog light housing. you'll see how easy it is.

Did you use the ddm kit that skunkd used?

Yea it's not too bad honestly could do it in under an hour for fogs and headlights if I had to do it again.
