Bulbs or the tail light kit that took you 3 minutes to install without a dash light?

The bulbs in the tail lights. All you need is a flat head screwdriver to pop the 2 rivets up and pull them out. Replace the bulb, test correct orientation of the bulbs by locking the doors from the key fob, if it doesn't blink seat the bulb the opposite direction. Then test again an put the light back in place.

5 min total for both sides with having to switch the orientation around for both sides.

It's for cars with LED/Xenon factory headlights. It stops the LED from shutting off when you turn the signal on. Should already be set to "off" from the factory for those with factory halogen headlights

Re: * Skunkd's 2015 White GC Altitude *

These bulbs actually have a true difference between braking, turn and just regularly on? Not a faint illumination?

These bulbs are never on all the time. They are only brake and turn signal. It is not a running light. The LED surround in the tail light is the running light on 2014+

Re: * Skunkd's 2015 White GC Altitude *

I guess my question is how much can you actually tell brightness of the bulb when it's in use from behind. I've been behind some folks with these aftermarket kits or bulbs and when the brake or the turn signal is on there's only a faint difference when either is activated. Perhaps those are the cheaper ones? It's nice the ones you left a link for stay cool with no resistors needed.

When you have your tail lights tinted like I do. Brightness during the daylight hours matters a lot so anything helps! It's a clear difference during the day. At night, not as drastic, but LED bulb vs Halogen you get instant on full brightness from the LED

Cool,it seems like a simple mod and there's no splicing wires so I'm in. Are these one of those bulbs that you shouldn't touch with your bare fingers because the oils will affect the bulb life?

These are less fragile than halogens. You can touch them for installation if needed just make sure your hands are clean.
