I will update on the 1st part of our trip to Chicago. Vehicle does have a smooth ride and I feel like I sit higher than others. When trying to out in something on the Nav, it will not let you. BUT!!!! If you hit the VR button and say "destination to 777 N. Michigan Av Chicago, IL". It then went to the Nav and started looking for the location. It would change to IL and the. Asked for address and City. I would say it again and then it calculated the route. They might stop you from manually entering it in but you can enter in by VR. With 95% of this highway with some hills, the EVIC was about 20-21mpg, I don't do this by hand (not a nitpicker). Right now it is in a Valet parking garage in Downtown Chicago. I got many looks at the car by people, which was awesome. I still have a smile on my face everytime I see my car or drive it!

The wife me a thumbs up. She said very comfortable and used the vented seats, which she really likes.

I ended up turning the ECO mode off when I got into the city as it does hamper the "get up" of the vehicle.

Awesome! About the NAV Lockout while in motion-have the same on my Maxima but does let you enter address via voice. I've actually entered addresses this way more than by hand-I mean, why waste time sitting there with the car running just to manually input an address. And for those who would gripe about the passenger can enter it manually, sure, I hit the VR button and let my wife speak the destination . Can't wait-the more I learn about this truck, the more I won't miss my Maxima as its very similar in tech and comforts, except its a truck!!! Enjoy Chicago!

I don't have a cell phone, but I did start it from my laptop yesterday. The a/c stayed on auto.

Software version is 13.05.3

Re: Sno GC Limited Lux II Max Steel

Alright, we made it back from our trip. It was a great run and didn't run into any issues with the Jeep. When I was driving in/around Chicago, I did have ECO mode turned off as it does make it sluggish. Putting it in Sport mode was fun from a crawl and then opening it up some, loved the exhaust sound. I can't complain about anything as it did exactly what I expected it to do. I did take 2 pictures of the MPG when I got to Chicago and then when we got back, I DID NOT reset when we left Chicago. It took about 3/4 of a tank to get there and back with still over 100 miles left to the tank supposedly.

Re: Sno GC Limited Lux II Max Steel

Sno, That's pretty good milage for a brand new jeep. I lived in the Chicago area (Naperville) for 35 years and never got that good a milage with any of my V8 jeeps. But it's been 11 years since my last Jeep was in the Chicago area. Not sure I would drive a brand new Jeep to Chicago these days. Al
