FTW your ride looks hot! I would color match the mirrors, fog bezels, and door handles. Then maybe black out the roof rack chrome and the rear step chrome. Looks real good so far!

Is it difficult to change the brow trim?

Looks great. Panda scheme is always a winner! I agree with the above suggestions and want to add that a black roof would look unbelievable as well. It's easy with vinyl and easily reversible if needed.

^^I agree, love the storm trooper/panda'd out look

Do you part numbers for the grill and brow? Is the grill brilliant black or plain gloss black?

Re: Stone White GC Overland w/ some mods

Thanks guys, the panda/stormtrooper look is definitely what I am going for. Black roof sounds like a fairly simple mod so i'll look in to that. I might just leave the door handles chrome as i'm not a big fan of pulling off the door panels. color matched fog bezels sounds good. Might take those and the mirrors in to get painted body color before winter.

Part numbers are all in the post linked above. I ordered the gloss black, color code px8 i believe it is. Install for both were fairly simple. I used trim stick to take off the rear brow.

The front grill once you loosen the top tabs pretty much just pulls out with a little bit of force. There was no damage to it at all. The altitude grill also comes with the silver mesh piece as well...i decided against using it as the silver really doesn't match anything else on the car. The original chrome grill and altitude mesh actually make a summit grill. I might consider selling it if there is interest.

Re: Stone White GC Overland w/ some mods

I need to black out the silver mesh on my Altitude too. The only thing it matches on the car is the center portion on the lower front lip which I am covering with vinyl anyways.

yeah, found it odd they decided to use a color that is not really consistent with anything else on the car for the mesh.

Re: Stone White GC Overland w/ some mods

Wow! Very nice! I am looking at doing nearly the same cosmetic mods to my Laredo X... I am glad someone else did it first - now I can't say no to doing my mods!
