Thumbs up Storm Chasing in the WK2

Recently returned from a storm chase trip to the USA. We rented a WK2 Laredo (V6) and it did fairly well. I have a Hemi Overland WK2 at home and did find the V6 underpowered a bit especially when merging onto interstates and accelerating to a decent cruising speed. Gas mileage was pretty good at around 23 MPG on the EVIC. We hit some bad roads in Central Oklahoma and the Jeep handled them like a champ. We even got hit by some quarter-golf ball sized hail and no dents were noted. The WK2 is pretty tough and feels solid. Only problem we encountered was hydroplaning when we were chasing the Joplin tornado. That's not the Jeep's fault. Driving conditions were brutal at that time.

Anyways, it makes me love my WK2 at home even more.
