I've done mine and its much easier through the engine bay!

Re: Studgun's New Ride

How much do you have to move and is it a fairly easy job.

Re: Studgun's New Ride

You don't have to move anything for the passenger side. Twist the socket a quarter turn, pull it out and swap the bulbs. For the driver's side you have to lift up the air filter box. No tools required, it just has rubber grommets that go over some posts. Pull it up and then it's a bit of tight squeeze to get your hand in there, but once you do it's just the same as the other side. Easy 5-10 minute job.

Re: Studgun's New Ride

Alright. Finally got some 18" wheels and 32" A/T tyres. Very happy with the end result and it's ready for a bit more offroad stuff now. Still a lot planned; Got duallys to replace the fog lights (will operate as spotlights) and a 20" double-row Aurora LED bar, and still need to buy and fit rock rails, bash plates, roof rack, Bushwacker fender flares and Uneek rear bar/tyre carrier when it's available. It gonna be a proper beast when I'm done, but we all know that once the Jeep bug gets you you're never done with mods.

And in Park Height:
