Thanks. They were done pretty quick but I wanted to get something out for my 6 cyl friends who may be on the fence. What the pics don't show are the intangables like the ride quality being more car-like, ease of getting in and out without the "ninja move" (as one poster put it - that comment still cracks me up) and no more "floaty" feeling over bumps. Not to mention there is no more nose dive under heavy breaking. If anyone is on the fence I'd say just do it; won't be regretted.

Ha, agreed. Pictures don't do it justice. It's very subtle. Kind of like that "there's something different about that GC, but I can't put my finger on it" look.

Re: Summit on Eibach springs

So i guess for all of us with the WK2 Overland 4X4 QL's there's not much we can do but wait and pray Eibach comes out with a kit for us, huh?? Man, I also wish I could drive my Hemi in "park" mode. What a difference!!!

Re: Summit on Eibach springs

thats what made me want to lower mine.......I saw a picture of one in park mode and I was sold!

I want to do more to it but I'm gathering up componentes for my media room......I can't afford to do both projects at the same time.

Re: Summit on Eibach springs

Hey five.7, you measured lately? I've put about 300 miles on mine and it settled down some more, not much (maybe 1/4 inch), but definately settled over time.

no change, still sitting the same as it was.
I'm thinking about having the rear coils cut to make it level with the front......just thinking about it right now.

Thanks. I'll take a few more pics after the next wash, you more than likely won't see too much of a difference with the naked eye.

I'd just be cautious of the ride quality. Going from stock to Eibachs was a leap forward but with the Eibachs you have a much different spring ratio so chopping, even slightly, may have a more significant effect. I'm no spring expert so someone else may want to chime in on this one.

That being said; it would look sick with so little gap all the way around.

that is eactly why I haven't done it yet.......when/if I do it I might add some load leveling air bags......that might help the ride some.

Adjustable Coil overs is what we need. Drop it 4 inches in the summer and raise it up a bit in the winter. Had adjustable Teins on my TL and loved them. That car coming at you looked like it was floating millemeters off the ground. I'm originally from Florida so have always liked that look.
