Re: Testing my new grand cherokee 14 in the desert

Awesome pics. Does all this spinning in sand harm the paint at all? I'm just curious. I'm in the middle of the US, and am a 2-day drive to the nearest sand. Thus, my Jeep has never seen it. I would think if one would do this often, it would eventually show on the paint?

Pretty cool! Always wondered how desert driving would sand blast a vehicle but that looks so fun.

No it will not harm your paint if you have a good protection I covered the entire front facia with 3m shield so I am not worry about my paint ,
But from my experience with my old car it will show on the paint if you go there in a windy day cause all the sand will hit the car body very hard
So the most important rule if you don't want to protect your pain don't ever ever go there if there is strong wind be sure the weather is clear or it will make marks on the paint and put a protective shied and your good to go.

So the 20s with stock tyres are performing okay in your sand?

That was my question. Are those the stock tires? Are those the GY Forteras or is stock different in Kuwait?
