The First Order: Overland

I'm back! After a hiatus from Jeep, we are officially back in. The fiancé was part of this whole "VW Diesel Gate" debacle, & we settled on another 14 Overland identical to the last one 😂 This is her ride, I traded mine in for an Infiniti FX50 a couple years ago. Which I don't regret at all because it's wicked quick & stylish!ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1478283296.078633.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1478283311.172239.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1478283332.000987.jpg Anyway we are going to Stormtrooper this girl up to match the FX then I'll be modding the motor! 😈 Feels great to be back in the Jeep Community 🙌🏽

The First Order: Overland

First weekly mod is a simple one, Black Gorilla Lug Nuts. These are as close to OEM style as I could find. I'm not sure if I like the contrast with the stock overland wheels tho🤔. What do you guys think, yay or nay?

Re: The First Order: Overland

Congrats on the Jeep purchase, great color combination. As for the black lug nuts, that's a big negative from me. If you had a High Altitude or something with black wheels then absolutely, but on a Overland with stock wheels and all the chrome on the body the original chrome lugs look perfect.

Congrats! Since you asked ... I like the look of contrast of the black lug nuts - (black tire, chrome wheel, black lug nuts)

Re: The First Order: Overland

Thanks for the feedback gentlemen, I'm keeping them off, in fact my black lugs may end up in the classifieds. Gonna take some time to replace all this chrome, just need to find a painter for the front lower bumper and mirrors🤔. I may even leave the chrome lugs on once we get her black SRT reps, I do like the contrast . The FX has the same & it pops exhibit A:

Re: The First Order: Overland

Does your wife really want you to do all those mods to it like de-chrome it and change the wheels and stuff? Looks great as is ;-) My wife would say leave my shit alone haha

Oh she says that also lol, but she told me to help her make it a Stormtrooper. I originally tried to get her into a white14 Altitude. But she wanted that hemi, she even told me "Go Big or Go Home bruh" lol Anyhow, we've got some parts on order and will commence the de-chroming soon.

Re: The First Order: Overland

And it begins...
We're adding oem altitude trim parts this week, everything except the side badges, roof rails and lower grille. We started with the rear badge last night. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1479151657.838382.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1479151674.241304.jpgImageUploadedByJeepGarage1479151687.272631.jpg
