^^^ Ummm, that's called cheating!!! :D

Congrats....looks BEAUTIFUL!

Is that the polished or bright polished wheels?

You second Summit, should you choose to buy it, was on the same train, time, etc. as Scittb's Summit.

Sounds like a fun trip for sure!

Your black Summit is absolutely beautiful and would have been my first choice if I lived in a cooler climate.

You remember a few weeks ago there was evidence that delivery times were trending toward a month. That's really what pushed me to pull the trigger on the Seattle deal (not to mention the chance for a road trip...!) At the time my options were not great. Of the (2) cars matching my specs within 1500 miles of LA, only the Seattle car had California emissions.

Mine is full up Summit "V-2" and has the bright polished wheels. What I can't tell is if there's a clear coat on these wheels. I don't think there is. Cleaning / maintenance suggestions are welcome....

On the subject of cleaning, the one thing that concerns me about this truck looking forward, is how well all of the exterior plastic parts are going to hold up especially to a scorching hot California sun. I can see investing in a couple of gallons of plastic protectant, and I can see how maintaining the plastic parts will soon become a regular part of almost every car wash.....

From Seattle, we headed up and around the perimeter of the Olympic peninsula, then straight down the coast all the way back to LA. A 1600 mile trip in all.

The Jeep was (thankfully) 100% flawless and a joy to drive thru some rugged and remote terrain. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and we had almost constant rain. Ironically, given normal LA weather, my Jeep has probably seen more rain in it's first 7 days than it will see for the remainder of this year !

I had the dealer install mud flaps and worked in the purchase of several other accessory items at cost. I want to write these guys up in the "good dealer" thread but the dealer, Larson Jeep in Pullayap WA, was really outstanding.

From the moment they picked us up at the airport till we drove off the lot, we were made to feel cared for and at home. 1st rate !

More pix. Notice how well the Mineral Grey blends with the weather.....

Thats an awesome story Steve, congrats! Aside from natural green, I think mineral grey is my fav on the overland...ill probably end up with mg though since green isn't available on the summit and I want the saddle interior (which reportedly is only available on summit from now on).
