trip to Moab

Spent a couple of days in Moab during my road trip.. I'm at the Grand Canyon now, but figure I'd hop on and post a couple of preview pics and a video. I'll post more as soon as I get back from my road trip!

Great pictures and video. Looks like you left your front air dam on. Is that correct?

I will be out there in June.

Love the red rock country! Have fun!

Those added photos are great! Red rock, blue sky and fine dust on your trusty Jeep. It doesn't get much better.

Beating may be a bit harsh. Let's give the video guy/gal a chance to redeem by holding the iPhone sideways next time for a little landscape action!

If that doesn't work, then beat away.

Re: trip to Moab

just got back this afternoon and I have to say the WK2 is the best road tripping vehicle I've owned. Seats were comfortable, cabin was quiet, and plenty of room for the passengers. The ride with the Destination ATs were great as well! I'm completely satisfied with the HEMI mileage--1 week, almost 2000 miles (2 days on Moab trails), and I still managed almost 20mpg. At one point, the EVIC even showed the average was 21mpg, but that was right before I started climbing in elevation back into Colorado.. lol. And, I was very surprised to see that I could've easily gone 500 miles on a tank of gas! The 2nd pic shows 51 miles to empty, that's after filling up in Albuquerque, NM and going straight to Denver (450 miles).

Jealous jealous jealous!!! Great to hear the Destination ATs didn't ding the fuel economy. Thanks for posting the fruits of your trip.

There were more trails than I had time for! I did end up running 4 trails in the 2 days I was there.

Truthfully, I don't know much about Moab as this is really the first time I've stayed there for more than a night. Are you going there for the Easter Jeep Safari?

I tried taking it off, but it wasn't as easy as they made it out to be.. so, I left it on. Looks like it was okay and I only scraped it slightly a few times.
