Unusual EVIC display combination

Who says the HEMI isn't efficient? Check it out: the 'Eco' light on at triple digit speeds... and no, it's not coasting. Sorry for the blur... it's not easy to capture at that speed.

Re: Unusual EVIC display combination

Thanks for sharing this. Very good to know that the 2012 6 speed V8 is capable of such low RPMs and in ECO mode at such high speeds.

I've tried out some things; seems to me that the ECO signal comes on when there is no acceleration aka steady speed. Even at 100+ mph . Lol.

Yes, even when the ECO light is on it does not mean the MDS is active it merely means that the engine is under a certain load percentage and that the engine RPMs are between 1200 and 2800. MDS cannot activate above 80 MPH IIRC.

If the ECO light comes on when you are doing over 100mph in a forest, will anyone hear your V-8?

Re: Unusual EVIC display combination

I turned it off also but it's cool of the OP to snap a pic while driving 100+MPH - good work.

I think this is a competition now, I will post the next time I get a chance to take my Jeep on the highway. game on
