ARB air compressor
Bit lazy with the placement of the couplertec anti-rust module but it does the job.
Vinyl wrapped dash
Custom rear storage, all packed up for some touring around the WA outback. Camping/4wding pic's to come.
Your car's looking great Wade, you've done an excellent job setting it up. Have a great trip... keep us in the loop

... and thanks for the Polk centre speaker mate. [emoji344]
looks good. Over the next couple of years, as I can get my wife a little more adventurous, I want to get mine set up for some overlanding. How does it drive with the ARB bumper.?
Could you post some more pictures of your vinyl wrap on the dash? I am thinking about doing this as well. Did you DIY or have a vinyl shop take care of it?
Spot on with the triple goddess symbol pinetar, I guess there may have been a witch coven in Exmouth at some point..
The pentagram on the ground was well done, perfect circle and it looked like they used the same device that is used to paint lines on a basketball court (thick paint with no over spray).
Hey, just wanted to finally get around to sharing some pics from the rest of my trip. First though, I have to say that after clocking up some 20,000ks on that trip, that the GDC is by far the most comfortable tourer I've had. It was a pleasure to drive on & off road and was capable enough to get me everwhere I wanted to go. But, unfortunetly it wasn't completely without issue, all up I had three jeep glitches/problems. While none of them where show stoppers, the first two could give you a headache if they occured at the wrong time. The first issue that popped up was something like "4wd tranmission requires servicing"?alarm followed straight away by "ACC requires servicing" alarm, it didn't put the car into limp mode but I couldn't select any 4wd modes. Prior to the alarms I had been driving through some really dirty water, I think I remember someone saying something about the wheel sensors being related to this alarm? so I'm guessing the dirty water affected one of the sensors? Anyway it happened close to where I wanted to camp, so I carried on and the fault was gone by the next morning. The second issue was my damn diesel stalling again due to a low oil pressure alarm, again it happened while trying to go up an incline while under sorta heavy acceleration. Unfortunately this time however, it happened at the worst possible moment leaving me perched at the edge of a creek with no way out but up, all I can say is thank god for maxx traxs. The third issue is hardly worth mentioning, it was an ACC servicing alarm, normally it will pop up when i get too many dead bugs on the radar but this time the radar was clean, it wouldn't clear by powering down the car but cleared overnight.
Millstream
Millstream homestead springs
Leaving Millstream after some overnight rain led to some interesting crossings and me wishing for a snorkel.
Weeli Wolli Creek, this place is worth a look for anyone travelling past Newman. It's fed from the dewatering system at the Hope Downs minesite so it flows all year round and the water is crystal clear (but heavy in calcium). Good place to waste a day sitting in the rapids drinking beer.
I swear the slope was steeper than it looks in this pic...
Three Springs Gorge, if anyone ever goes here don't make the same mistake as me and go for a swim. I came across a snake and a few leeches in the water.
Thunderclap Gorge
Kalgan Creek
Gregory Gorge
Carawine Gorge
Magic Pool
Nanjigartte (not sure if that's spelt right) this was my favourite place from the trip but the hardest to get to. As a kid I can remember people water skiing here from Paraburdoo and Tom Price but mining growth has pretty much closed off all public access tracks.
Stewarts Pool, the roughest and most fun track, tore my coopers to shreds.
