Went to see a Rugged Brown Summit today . . .

I took a little road trip today to see a Rugged Brown Summit a few hours down the road.

I was a little wary of the brown-on-brown combo of the paint and the saddle before I got there, but it very pleasantly co-exists. It was definitely attractive.

(And dirty.)

Oddly enough, I hope a lot of people agree with you. I'd like it if the Rugged Brown Summits stay kinda rare.

I actually do like the brown a lot - but I also like the Mineral Gray which is stunning with the chrome. But.... there are a jillion gray cars and trucks on the road these days. That fact alone swayed me to the Rugged Brown.

I'm thinking Rugged Brown would be my second choice after the Brilliant Black that I bought (black is such as classy color in my opinion). Next Mineral Gray then never White Gold (LOL....not trying to be a White Gold hater, just not my color). I had thought Mineral Gray was my first choice (for something other than black again) but now Rugged Brown replaced Mineral Gray as my second choice...the unique factor played in. Plus Rugged Brown probably looks a bit like black at night then really a great brown in bright sun.

I almost ordered the Rugged Brown Summit. I was in the showroom and there was a Rugged Brown Dodge Ram truck parked next to a white overland which had Saddle interior. I looked back and forth between the two trying to figure out if the saddle would look good with the rugged brown (ie too much brown?). i even asked the receptionist (who looked totally bored, i was thinking how lucky she should be just to have a job) and she said she didnt think they would look good together. However, i will say that i have seen more "brown" cars on the road such as the Infinity and the Dodge. i think that is a color that will be more and more popular in future years... so i guess the summary is i was afraid i wouldnt like the brown on saddle, but, based on those pictures it looks pretty darn good. to do over again, i would have probably ordered the black as the black summit i saw in person was beautiful

Yes it is a beautiful combo...loving every minute of it! I also think a Stone White or a Natural Green Summit would look great too.....

We specifically waited for the Rugged Brown Summit versus the Brilliant Black Summits that were available - I am very glad that we waited!

As said earlier - at night it appears to be black, and a dark chocolate brown when not in direct sunlight - but in the sun it really sparkles! It is a truly great & unique color (and I hope it stays very rare!).

I do have to say that if Natural Green & Summit were available, we would have had a much more difficult time making a decision (not sure why this combo is not offered - I can only imagine how good it would look!)
