"Willis" Our 2014 Limited Eco Diesel 4x4

1st day we got it in March special ordered. It's my wife's daily driver.

Now after some blood and sweat and elbow grease:

Tinted the front windows to match the rear factory tint.
RRO leveling kit
RRO Rail and crossbar kit
Jeep 10 spoke matte black 18" wheels
Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 2 265/65/18

Next on the list is to start getting rid of some of that chrome.

Looks great! Pretty much exactly what I'm planning on doing to my 14' Laredo. Sitting at the tint shop as I write this!

Ps - any rubbing issues with the tires? Did you have them on before the leveling kit by any chance?

Thanks. I had the tires on for only a week before I installed the lift. There was no rubbing at all. I am in Ouray, Colorado right now exploring all the trails out here and at full flex and stuff there's still no rubbing. I think it's the perfect size.

Looks excellent! Nice work.

Looking forward to seeing what else you have planned.

And you're sure your wife doesn't mind all your tinkering with her DD?!

That's good to hear, I need to get some tires soon and it'll probably be a little bit before I install the leveling kit. Granted out here in North Dakota the trails aren't that rough, but I do spend a fair amount of time on some double-track type trails so looking to get something a bit more aggressive than the stock tires.

Also, how's the driveability with the RRO kit? I put on at least 500 miles a week for work and don't want to run into any issues.

Thanks. She did mind all the tinkering at first but it has grown on her and she loves it now.

The driveability is just as good as it was brand new. We have just put a little over 1,300 miles on it since Friday driving from Dallas, TX to Ouray, Colorado. A hundred of them have been hard off-road miles on the trails around here. It still drives straight as an arrow on the highway and rides just as well as it did stock. The Jeep only has about 8000 miles total.

We had a 2011 GC with the RRO kit on it before this one. Zero problems with it as well. My wife drives about 300 miles a week for work.

Awesome pictures and I bet an awesome trip! I'm loving those wheels and might just have to pick a set up myself.

Re: "Willis" Our 2014 Limited Eco Diesel 4x4

Looks like a great trip overall. How'd she do in the backcountry? No problems with the DEF line - or do you have the new skid plate/DEF shield we're all doing? Also, presumably no issues with DPF full and/or regen needed?

Good to see the JGC keeping true to her off road roots, and showing those JK's we're still a force!
