OK,

"tinting" lights.

The dealership used a film called Laminex on the lights. this is a gel like coat, but can be cut as required and fits like normal vinyl.
I ended up cutting the centers out of mine as they were affecting the lighting just to much.

The second part was to use the same vinyl that they used for the bonet ect and create an eye liner around the light.

and that is it... tinted lights.

I hope this was to some extend helpful..




This is as she is now... had to change the hood as there are two idjits in our town that did the black hoods... I hate copycats (That live in the same town... I can still help you!! haha.)

This is the picture I was looking for... Poor wrapping.. was mailing the guy's that did it.

but should be good to explain what I meant with regards to the eye-liner.

Just out of interest - I used a carpet blade - I hope that's what you call it... But covered the light in masking tape, measured on the tape, made a template of the size and then did the same on the other side.

Let me know how yours came out!.
