Winch and Spots fitted!!

OK, so I took the Plunge and ordered the Kit from Rocky road...
Winch : Smitybuilt 8000P with synthetic strap
Lights: Lightforce 170 35w HID

And this is the install...
We start...

And a couple of minutes later... to late to turn back now!..

How the hell do you activate these??!!?? I didn't even know the Jeep had them!!

Getting there!!

Still getting there!!!

Then my bat in the camera went flat.. so the next day!.

11 hours in total!!!

This is the final Product
SO happy!!

This is max and min height!

I mounted the roof rails, but not the rack.. will do that a little later.

Wasn't that bad actually.. I took about 3 hours just on ensuring I have the Winch in a way I like it/ can access it, and also quite some time to find the correct trigger for the spots.

The overall hardware install was actually really easy!.

I will include I know my metal work, and Know what is a good weld and what not!, and these are top notch!. clean joins, great powder coating! and everything fitted first time around!. nothing was a tight fit, or a fit with some force!!..

overall. Rocky road did an excellent job with this product!!!!.

Hey dude, sorry to say, but I doubt it will fit. the Winch is dropped into the the bracket and the top of the bumper clears it with about 1". You will have to use one that has the controller loose so that it can be mounted out of the way.

Oh Those long plastic things are washers for the lights!!.. How do you activate them?

Re: Winch and Spots fitted!!

Effen sweet. I have no need for the winch however, I do want to run auxiliary lights. I have the Lightforce 240 Blitz sitting in the basement that I havent used for years. Where did you run the power from/to? BTW, I was hesitant to run the 240's due to there size but seeing the 170's tucked towards the grill= excitement. Damn.... Lightforce puts out a ton-o-light....and I aint kidding. Been running them since 1999 on my Durango. Best light period..(IMO obviously)
