Thank you for pointing that out. I think I found my favorite microfiber cloths: http://www.chemicalguys.com/elite_mi...mic_501_12.htm

I only have two of that kind, and have used them for years. Time to get some new ones for my new ride.

I have a polish on my Jeep. To maintain, I just go with a touchless car wash once a week, with dryers that leave it just wet enough to dry it with a small microfiber cloth. Then I use Perfect Detail spray and a microfiber cloth to make it look showroom perfect. Then I'll just use the polish each Spring or Spring and Fall.

Re: Winter wax is on!

Thanks guys! I always got turtle wax cause it was convenient. Haven't found too many other brands here in Kuwait. I'm definitely gonna do some more reading online. Probably order it online as well. Thanks for the great sources guys!

Re: Winter wax is on!

Hey Buckeye, have you ever used Collinite 476? Thats what I use in the winter, a little harder to work with than the 915, but even more durable.

I have not tried it. Probably won't if it is harder to work with than 915.

Re: Winter wax is on!

Everything I read about the XXX makes it sound like hand application is preferred. I generally use my random orbit buffer to apply wax and then microfiber towels to manually remove. If I give XXX a try, should I revert to elbow grease for application?

Re: Winter wax is on!

Honestly guys, give the Collonite's insulator wax a try! Goes on and comes off easily and no nasty smell like you've mentioned about the other products. I've used it for a winter wax for a few years now with excellent results.

Well, I am trying CG Black Light next week. So far I have been impressed with Citrus wash and gloss and the leather cleaner and the Tire stuff (very technical, I know). I am creeping their way
