Not my cup of tea. I went for the first time in April and boy are those guys some cry babies. Take it too seriously. I was hangin with Mario, which was cool, and because he wrote my time on my window for me this one guy started crying when I beat him saying I cheated. Lol. Mario only wrote it because HE HAD THE MARKER. I guessed the time. I go for a good time and thats it.
Eddie, I remember that bro. Even thou I'm still in first place in points and whether I finish in first or not this will be my last year competing for points, that event is turning into something else from when I started. Back then it seemed like friends helping friends, now they are taking it a little too serious and putting friendship aside.
Next year I will be joining another bracket racing event or just do time trials.
BTW Eddie, you beat him fair and square, your reaction time was much better than his including your dial in.
Thing is, its not like the cars were CRAZY modded. A couple 426's and a couple with nitrous but thats it. I think I'd rather stay away from the bracket racing but who knows.
The above posts are exactly why I don't mess with bracket racing. Mario tried to get me into it some time ago, and while it does look fun, I was a little put off by the attitudes of some of the racers.
Ahh... forget it... nobody is going to go...
It'll be just you and I once again buddy.
So many here from the tri-state area and only us two representing with jeeps :shaking head disappointed:
I know I'm out in Colorado right now - but I'm trying to get stationed in Washington DC or just get out of the Army and head back home to Woodbury, Connecticut and finish up college. Anyways glad to see you guys getting out, when I get back east I will definatly come out and join you all!
