On Sunday November 20th a couple of us are going to meet up and go wheeling. If you are interested in joining us please send me or JonJon a PM and we will get you the details. We did this a few weeks ago and was a blast. No pressure to do anything you are not comfortable with. Its perfect for those of any experience level, even first timers.

It probably won't be until after the holidays, but we will definitely let you know. I see you have an xj, have you done anything to it?

Sounds like quite the beast. That rear setup sounds like an interesting way of acheiving 6" stacked, blocked, and shackled. Pictures? Or it doesn't exist. Lol

Yea he'll blend right in with that crowd. They are doing another trip just before the holidays but I think my wife would stuff me and serve me for Christmas dinner, if I went. Lol

Oh it does exist and I went wheeling with a pal and his stock '98 G Cher. 5.2. We were out till 2:45 am. We left when I finished the description here. Got home at 3 am. I had the stock mud/snow trapping steel rims and 235's for most of this year and the set up it has is great for what i do. No vibes or the 'death wobble' others gripe about. Limited budget ya see. Still need to do some fender trimming. I got all four 35 inchers for only $450. -barely used. Couldnt turn away that chance. Keep me informed of your outings. I'll try to have a pal upload some pics. Do you guys want clean mall crawl pics or in the wilds?????????????

I let a friend borrow it up in maine and she backed up to a friends house and hit the gas instead of the brake and drove it smokin tires an all thru the two car garage. The right rear tire and pipe and shackle hit the concrete foundation between the doors and bent everything . Two busted taillights, mangled bumper ends, dented t-gate and sheared spring center bolt- yeah it needed to be gutted. Wish I had a long arm kit and front and rear air lockers. Almost a year ago when it was stock I gently rolled it on a thick snowy hill. I dont abuse it and it definitely is not for sissys.

Great pic!!!!! The place I wheel is tucked near homes and dont want to ruin the freedom if others show up. Reedy Meadow in Wakefield and Lynnfield has a road to a great fishing hole.I have a '94 Honda dual sport and love it for the freedom and side trips to find our wheelin' areas. I have a atv also. Any of you members ever try Maine Rocky Mountain Terrain Park? In Pennsylvania on Interstate 80 heading west there is an exit called Mile Run. Take that and turn right. Up a short hill there is a groomed legal dirt road on left only road actually. This is open to any licenced vehicles meaning us. Google earth it. Miles of easy and moderate hunting trails. Any of you attend Jeep Jamborees?

I've never been to Maine rocky mt terrain park. Is this an offroad park with designated trails and ratings? I would like to take the family down to rousch creek in may, for a few days. I went to the badlands out in Indiana, and had a blast. I wanted to go to the jeep jamboree but they announced they wouldn't accept anyone without 35" tires. And I'm not quite there yet :)

What a bunch of BS. I don't think that is for all of them but it looks like its 33 inch tires for Killington, the only one I was interested in doing.

I have not been to Maine terrain park but I have a bunch of friends up there that love the place. They used to be against it, until they kept getting guns pulled on them for being on supposed "unmarked private property."

The yellow jeep has a helpful front bumper. Is that Yosemite Sam!? I was looking thru the Quadratec dream catalog and saw the front tow bumper and was considering it for a winch receiver so I can plug and play the winch in either the rear frame hitch or the front. How does the yellow Jeep owner like his?

#25 ·
I believe he actually made his, cuz like the rest of them, he ripped his factory bumper off on a rock. So it serves it's purpose. Lol he beats on that thing and it takes it all with a smile. Or at least a smirk as of lately!
