Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

Hey I'm coming this Saturday those pedals look nice, I know they fit the Durango R/T I seen some guy have them in his D R/T... The mats also I would like to see them. Am certain the mats though maybe the pedals not sure since I have some already but not the SRT lol

Alright see ya there. I have some skid plates as well but I'm leaning towards trading the jeep in with them on. Not sure if I want to take them off yet.

Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

Does anyone in Chicagoland know of a solid high end paint/body shop that would do a good job on sanding smooth and painting the plastic trim on the front and rear bumper and on the fender flares? Ive already asked a few places that i thought would hve agreed to the work but they both told me that any really good body shop will tell u they wont paint the textured plastic trim cuz after about a year it will flake off. And basiclly ruin it. But ive read on here and a few other places that if prep'd correctly and if primed, painted and cleared with flex added in all 3 stages it would be fine. Not sure what to think about this. Any ideas/thoughts? Maybe its just not worth it?

Stop by A&L Autobody.
They're one of the best shops around and will give you a straight answer.

This guy painted his lowers and it looks great.

Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

Ultimately the next thing on my to do list is wheels but what im lookin at (Ace Aspire Blck Chrome) is gonna cost me between $2-3k w/tires. Ive looked at OE wheels and i dont like any of them although they will cost me about half the $. Only ones i do like are the srt8 spider black chromes, but would rather be a lil different than the masses.

I love the spider monkeys black chrome. If i was keeping my jeep I would have been all over that. Its good to be different though.
