Chances are you'll need to modify it to fit, it'll perform worse than stock and will drone.
I'd suggested an exhaust that's meant to fit your application and has been reviewed by others.

Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

Yeah wasnt sure what year his srt was. I read somewhere on here that the oem stock dual exhaust on a 5.7L V8 could be installed on a 3.6L V6 with some additional hardware easily purchased. Not sure what exhaust system is on the SRT? Im not looking to spend $$ on an upgrade for performance. I like the look of the dual exhaust. I have a V6 i dont care much about what performance upgrades an aftermarket catback system will get me for 1000$+ . I saw a guy on here selling his oem dual exhaust after he installed a catback for like 300$ but it was on the east coast and u needed to pick it up. Im looking to find someone in chicago that upgraded their oem dual exhaust with a catback system.

Kenny those are 3 inch pipes ours are 2.5. You would be best getting someone's old Hemi dual exhaust that will bolt up directly to the V6 with out modification you just need the rear left hangar and lower rear dual trim then swap out mufflers

Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

Hey guys also we are planning our next meet either Saturday November 8th or 15th. We would really like to hear who is interested and any locations that would work. First time we had 9 cars then down to 4 (but with new guys!) so it would be nice to get everyone together before winter and the holidays please let us know! Food places seem to be the best

Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

I can do the 8th or the 15th. Location doesn't matter for me.

Thanks for clarifying that up for me. Was hopeful that the SRT would have the same exhaust as the 5.7L Hemi V8. I knew that exhaust system would work on our WK2 models, but wasn't sure what the SRT was equipped with, so thanks for the info. With that said...if anyone in Chicagoland/Midwest area is looking to upgrade their Hemi Dual Exhaust with an aftermarket Catback....I would be more than happy to work out some deal with you to take the old exhaust system off your hands....better than scrapping it or leaving it at your muffler/exhaust shop, which usually happens as the system is rather large and transporting it causes an issue (that's why every system I find on Ebay is local pickup only).

Re: The Chicagoland Jeep Meet Thread !

I could do the 8th, but not the 15th, going to be hanging out with Pitbull in MIA. I was checking out some of the other Jeep Groups (Australia), and they do a drive from point A to point B as a group. May want to consider something like that in future.

Portillo's seemed to be a good location parking/foodwise.
