Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Granite

The Granite Crystal does shift somewhat under different lighting conditions. That's what makes it an interesting color.

The worst way to judge a color is by looking at pictures of it. They're rarely ever accurate. Look at it in person, then decide.

Here's mine after a wash today. Love this colour. In bright sunlight, you can see the metallic flecks in the paint.

I went through the same back and forth on the granite and black. you really need to go look at them in person not pictures. I ended up getting the black. the black isn't really black its more of a metallic charcoal color which I liked instead of flat black . The granite while I like it I decided it had a little too much brown in it for me and under certain light had a little purplish hue which I wasn't sure I wanted. both are great colors though you wont go wrong with either just don't make your decision based on pictures go and see them.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Granite

My eyes don't see any brown in the granite crystal at all... under any lighting conditions.

Oh well...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee Granite

If you put it next to a true grey metallic you can see the slight brownish. It has been noted on here several times before. Its subtle but its there, its not bad just gives it a unique color. I went back and forth between the two several times both good colors

Anything dark is hard to keep clean... Well worth it in my opinion.
