N23 recall glitch.

Hi all. WK 09 hemi limited wont go into low range since the N23 recall was performed. Jeep doesn't care anymore after two attempts to reflash it. Anyone have any tips on what next?

Smile Re: N23 recall glitch.

There is a service bulletin from jeep dated 29 July, 2014 advising dealers how to fix it.
Quote them service bulletin No 21-022-14 REV.A

Mine has gone again too, so hope they have a fix now.
regards, Lionel.

Re: N23 recall glitch.

Did you guys have to pay to get the new service bulletin performed. Because every dealership I go to the time he did have to charge me for diagnostic fees. I asked the dealers why should I pay when they caused the issue with the n23 re flash .

Re: N23 recall glitch.

Can't answer about Australia but in US and Canada, recalls are free for life for any owner, IF it's an offficial recall. See screenshot from jeep website for this in writing.

N23 is an official recall so free for everyone, anytime.

TSB's, however, are only free during warranty period and you will be charged.

Re: N23 recall glitch.

I had mine done in September last year. Checked it several times since including today and all is well. I booked it in and told the dealer that I had no intention of paying for it and gave him the attached note. As far as I am concerned, they wrecked it, they should fix it. So all is good.
Love my Jeep.
