Re: A Sneak Peak at Superchips new in cabin programmer

Price estimations haven’t been forwarded to me at this point. ETA has been pushed slightly into mid 2nd quarter as a worst case scenario.

Sorry I don't have more to offer at the moment. I will be sure to update you on additional data as I get it.

Scott

Re: A Sneak Peak at Superchips new in cabin programmer

Scott, Early 2Q is great, Thanks for the update! You were saying the WK2 model will be in the early release with other models to follow. On the WK2, would that include V8 and V6 eng or V8 only?

With the slightly postponed release schedule, will the Avid & Vivid be released about the same time?

Programming: any more updates on if that's a fixed set parameters or more independent settings?

Anxious to see the product!

Re: A Sneak Peak at Superchips new in cabin programmer

Current WK options cover 5.7L, 4.7L, and 4.7L HO apps only. We are working on the Pentastar engines as I type this and hope to have these options available with the other 2011 apps very soon.

Towards the VIVID? No data on that option has been provided to me at this time but I am sure they will think of something once we get them out into the market.

Re: A Sneak Peak at Superchips new in cabin programmer

I have added 3.7L interest to my monthly reports to management on several occasions. The honest truth as to why the feature has not made it to market is that demand up to this point has been slim compared to development costs.

Management has to take into account that a new task such as this would require us to take tech’s off of such projects as 2011 support for current coverage’s and new product development (VIVID) where the return to profit will greatly outweigh the costs involved.

All that being said, I will continue to monitor activities regarding this application and I will forward my finding to management on a monthly basis. Hopefully demand will increase for this option to where we can move forward especially when gas hit's $5 a gallon.

Re: A Sneak Peak at Superchips new in cabin programmer

When does VIVID release?

My dad is interested in one for his 08 2500HD duramax...if it'll be useable on that of course.
