Re: grand cherokee 3.7L

Dam, I am almost bought one. Glad I did not waste my money.
The website does not indicate that the 3.7 is not supported.

Re: grand cherokee 3.7L

Guys, I have posted a comment in Superchips vendor section on a Dodge truck website regarding tuning specifically for the 3.6 Pentastar and the 3.7 engines (2007-2010)

http://nadodge.com/showthread.php?t=6549

Quote:
I have several people asking me- not because I offer tuning support, but because I sell parts- about both 3.6 Pentastar and 2007-2010 3.7 tuning. In the midst of 4.00/gal gasoline tuning for basic modifications is becoming more and more commonplace, and these cars/trucks, especially with pig rich WOT calibrations from the factory, sorely need help. Over time these smaller engines will be more commonplace. So, it is my opinion that you guys are missing opportunity.

There is something to be said about having complete dominance of the marketplace, even if the market is rather small. I am not a programmer, so I have a limited understanding of exactly how much work it is to reverse engineer, write, and process code that is consistently stable across many different models, makes, and revisions. But I would have to imagine that there is some commonality between say a 3.7 EKG motor and the 08+ 4.7, the newer 5.7s etc.

If it isnt already in the works, it should be seriously considered.
