Scott - please explain the process!!

Scott - I am seeing all of your work in this section and I must say I am very impressed. Can you explain to us the process for painting chrome pieces like you are? I know back in the day when this was done it would never last because eventually the paint would chip and peel off of the chrome because of the lack of good adhesion. Can you explain what is different now? Just curious...

I didn't want to know any trade secrets, just what is the basic process now vs. those in years past. If I am looking at paying to have chrome pieces painted, I want to make sure they are going to stay painted.

Re: Scott - please explain the process!!

I have a question for Scott too. Scott, will you take the lower fascias that are plastic and bumpy...will you block sand, prime, paint, and clear coat those for us so that it's perfectly smooth paint just like the rest of the upper bumpers are?
