murfman is just really nice
Re: I love this hood!

Thanks for all the compliments, I really wish I could get a picture that does justice to the view from the drivers seat. That is still the BEST angle to look at the hood IMO.

Re: I love this hood!

Any idea on what painting and install would run?

DCSpecial has much to be proud of
Re: I love this hood!

Paint charges vary greatly by area. I'd guesstimate $200-500 to prep and paint both sides of the hood and install depending on pricing in your area and what shop you use.

That is funny.... For me anyway.

I had an 06 Charger SRT-8 before my Jeep. The insert flew out on me when I was going down the road at about 60 MPH. It was 2-3 years old, but still.... Scared the crap out of me and lucky no one or thing was hurt....

Re: I love this hood!

i think the extra warning is due to the ram air you cannot get to the clips to release from the inside. where I THINK you could do that on the charger oem srt8.

but good to know.

i paid 350 to have my medic hood painted and they did a blend on my fenders due to the metallic. so a straight black might be a bit cheaper.

Re: I love this hood!

I agree with Kyle. IMO the venom hood just doesn't fit the look of the jeep.
