I recently purchased the eibach lowering springs for my 09 GCSRT8. I have heard there is something I need to do special with the rear bump stop. If not it will cause the back to bounce too much?
Can anyone help me, and please explain this to me?
You are supposed to cut some material off of it, like an inch. I wouldn't remove them completely because if you do bottom out that will be a hard bang.
Eibach has been including the fix with all their springs for liek the last 3-4 years. Its a different set of shorter bumpstops. You can also buy shorter energy suspension bumpstops and get a shorter bolt for the upper cup.
