whats up fellas, i can not sit here and say that im not overly excited about my new blacked out projector headlights!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:thumbsup:

i finally got fed up and said to my self im going to complete these daym headlight today.... so i rolled up to Marios shop (NX-1) for some very useful space to lay out all the tools for wiring and etc to install these.----thanks for letting me use the space to work on my Jeep today Mario, i really appreciated you lending me some of your tools and supplies as well.... i felt bad asking for lil shiot like tape... good to know that hes always stocked on supplies- of all the days i show up with my lights--today i didnt bring along my tool bag...

ok so here are some photos i snapped along the way.... the weather did a power shower for a while so some pics were when i took cover under the canopy-- the rest are when i wiped her down...

honestly fellas---im super happy!!! permaGrin all night long!!! :D:D:D

lmk what you guys think of them. this sucker was a touch project to tackle even though i got the headlights split open already--it still was a project and half to complete with all the Dremeling and sealing etc.. very glad i installed them today.

and you can bet that i used the "scottina wiring method" cheers for your thread scotty boy! ;)

and a sub-par night shot of the new look --

now all i gotta do up front is install chads CF front lip

heres a couple pics of them opened up and the tedious process of getting rid of the old glue then sealing them back up--

Like I told you at the shop... "it looks bad-ass bro" Your jeep in general looks bad-ass, all the mods done so far are very tastefully done.
Sorry I couldn't help you out, but you know how busy I was with the S600 I was doing. Still not done, have to finish it tomorrow.
You did a great job with the install.
Cheers! Oops that's you line... :D

thanks scott! hahaha yeah- i bitched about the weather not cooperating with me for months and i find myself installing them on a rainy day in the end......

btw changing the bulb back there is tight as hell in the 6.1!! i really shouldve swapped out the old D1S's before putting them in cause the battery and the volant box are dead in the way... i mean its doable but i dont want to be too harsh and phuck its integrity ya know...

yeah i guess ill just swap them out on vacation when i have a whole lot of time to play with my jeep... by the time i get everything in- i realized its tight:eek:

i love the way she looks in the day time with lights off. wow whata turn on! lolz

:hitit:
:metoo:

yep...really transformed my Jeep too! I have some new ones on the way from Dan with all the chrome painted. I figured why not? I never use the high beams anyway.....LOL

#21 ·
dont you just love it! it felt soo good last night- i keep saying that but its true.. lol

i thought about painting the highbeam black but i like the appearance like this for right now. plus i need the highbeams while traveling upstate back roads and etc.. i have additional sets of lights that i can play with if i choose to go down that route again. at first i was hesitant on keeping the amber in there but i honestly like the amber there, i really dont pay too much attention to the amber cause my focus is on picture and not the frame... heheh

 HOT!!!!!!

up next..switchbacks!!!

GOTCHA!!!! looooook sexy:) sorry we couldnt do it earlier but my sched is always hectic on the weekends. glad mario was able to hook u up!
thanks bro, yeah all i needed was some space and some day light in order to see what i was doing-

honestly though, i thought maybe id need some help (guidance) with the install cause i never done it before but after i did it all by myself- its honestly not hard at all. its just tricky if you got to get them in to sit properly but after anyone does it once...id say its piece of cake.

the worst bolts to put back on are the ones directly under the highbeams..it was a PITA! hahah

#32 ·
o yea...THAT'S the look!!!

Are the turn signal section painted?

#34 ·
hahah def the look! :D

but i didnt paint the clear section. i thought about removing it like others have done but i honestly like the clear there. you can still see the painted switchbacks once theyre put in through it as well... i have additonal sets of OEM HIDs at home so if i decide to do another set i will change a few things around. but for right now, i love them bro.

that is sick bro !!!
thanks omar!

yea, if i have to do it again, I would leave that section alone. I just finished installing the switchbacks and its !!!! but i think it'll look better and brighter if it was chrome/unpainted. Also i think it gives off a hint of purple from the light hitting off the painted area.
