Picked up the 275/315 set up today, and as far as stickiness? Wow, they are glued to the street.
I will load up some pics later today, and I have only had a chance to drive them like, 35 miles so fare. So I won't be able to give a real review.
There are plenty of reviews on here and the net, so you guys don't need me to do one.
I will just put up some pics and say again, as far as stickiness? WOW.
I work at Town Fair tire in NH and we have a full set of these for sale on close out in the 275/315 sizes. Someone bought them and never picked them up so now they are on sale to get rid of them.
I bet they are SICK! Just be ready to have another set ready to go in like 4k miles lmao! I guess thats the price you gotta pay for that soft compound to get them boys sticky and grippy
I.bogdgvught mine from discount tire for 1050 shipped. Call and ask for mitch. I forgot his extension. Maybe 51284 ? Just tell him you want that price from that Johnathan got them.
yeah, mine were 1050 too, I don't think you have to know someone to get the price, you just need to know how to talk to someone. (Discount Tire for me too)
Theres a guy on here that, if I remember correctly, had 15000 and around 100 or so 1/4 mile runs and said they still had good life yet. And he lives in the Florida heat...... Maybe he will chime in.
I got mine from Discount as well for the same price. They do hook pretty damn good. I actually dead hooked 2X yesterday morning. Then after we put in my new converter, they barely spun! Defninitely a sweet sweet tire for sure. I'm hooked on them. Even my high speed on/off ramps are more fun now. The only thing I don't like about them is heavy rain. They will hyrdoplane so be careful. Still good wet traction though.
Can you compare them to stock tires in the rain? I've hydroplaned pretty badly a few times even just driving over a wet patch of road when it's sunny outside on my stock setup. It rained this morning and I hydroplaned a ton again. It's getting pretty old at this point, so I'm looking for some new tires that are better in the dry and hopefully in the wet.
