Anyone here running these replica wheels?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-J...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

Insurance is paying for 2 of my wheels, and I came across these on Ebay, I figured I could run these and get toe OEM ones re-polished and powder coated, as I eventually wanted to get another set of wheels/tires for the winter. I was thinking about 4 of these in the 20 x 9 with some blizzaks for the winter. Just wondering about the quality of the wheels.

they are excellent quality and just like 1 pound heavier than the forged OEM's. I have a set of black reps from factoryreproductions.com

if you're thinking about those wheels, i'd contact the company directly and purchase them straight through them. here is the link http://www.factoryreproductions.com/wheels.php?co=jeep&wheel=1

i've read where other members have got the srt-8 replicas for $800 shipped. eBay has the listing fees and selling fees the company has to pay so they charge slightly more for the wheels.

this company was from another thread here on JG... http://www.drivelinecustoms.com/wheels.aspx?ID=5152&year=2007&make=Jeep&vehicle=Grand%20Cherokee%20Limited&subclass=&syn=Custom%20Wheels&style=&size=&finish=&bolt_pattern=&poc=

I have the fronts from factory repo and have the rears from wheels and caps. I personally think the pricing is better from wheels and caps. I bought from both of them but not through ebay. I just had them both send me a paypal invoice.
Wow, I went to the Drivelinecustoms website and they are much cheaper than anyone else, 728.69 shipped to my door for 4. Are these made by the same company?

Factory repro quotet me 936.00 shipped

Now why would you buy a fifth wheel? For the amount of time that it will take you to get fixed, you could use one of the 9" winter tires as the spare or vice versa. Unless you are doing something radical with tire sizes, the little difference should not be an issue.

I like the look of the taller tires, they fill the wheel well nicely.

Jeep on the right is also lowered.

The place OEW place the wheels are 20x 9.5 size and not the 20x 9.0 size the other places are selling and the srt front size. There is a thread about the OEW place but no one has got a set installed on a WK, I think the tires will be pass the the fender wells.

I called OEWheels, and the rep told me the whwwls are in fact 9" wide, the 9.5 is a typo. They are out of stock until Jul 1 I will call then to double check the width and order a set.

Well i want to buy some set of replica, i like the SRT8 replicas, but also i fin the replica of a Viper 22inch wheels, for 150 dlls extra, so on ebay says it will fit, but they will not fit the GC SRT8 did someone knows why? those brembo will rub? Did some one can post a GC with 22s, and also planning to use the H&R lowering springs.

Yes...the Viper reps will not clear the breembo brakes on the srt8. Theer are pics on here of bane101 with black 22" viper reps. Hemidawg has 20" viper reps in chrome and robpp had them in chrome as well.

So did anyone get the OEW reps? That is a d@mn good price for some 20" winter wheels!

#31 ·
I am gonna get a set of the OEW reps and 245 or 255 Pirelli Scorpian Ice and Snow tires, they seem to get better reviews than the Blizzaks and have a higher speed rating.

#35 ·
Im pretty sure these are the same as the factoryreproduction replica wheels. How could multiple companies afford to develop and manufacturer a replica wheel? Especially a new company like OEW?

Really? Do they use a water jet CNC style type of machine for the wheels? I know exactly what you're talking about if so, and Id bet you are right. Im assuming all the reps are the same exact wheel just from different sellers. But again you never know who's out there and has a buck to make a buck. Still gonna give 'em a call.

What are peoples thoughts on going 275/55 on 9" wheels all around vs. going 255/45 all around on a 9" for winter use? I want the fenders filled, but I want to handle in some snow still, what's best?

That is the exact reason why if i wanted SRT wheels i would wait and save forever for Factory wheels.

I work at a tire and wheel shop (town fair tire of New England) and i see way to many made in china wheels come back cracked or in terrible condition after only a short time.

well still waiting on driveline customs...its been a week and have been able to speak with them once after numerous messages and emails

choosing to buy through their website instead of ebay may have been a mistake. will not give me a tracking number or a delivery date.

anyways i have a very lonely set of yokohamas (arrived in 2 days from tirerack).

Forget the yokos, whats up with and where are the pix of that viper in the background?! hahaha

I Like the 50s, I just like a bit more sidewall to fill out the fender well...might even reduce fuel cost a tiny wee bit  maybe 1or2mph @ top end :D

driveline customs was $630 for black reps shipped to TN, saved about $150 bucks but paying for it in delivery time/customer service.

I rent the local chrysler dealer their building and have developed a pretty good relationship with them...its worked well for them too because everyone in my family drives jeeps or chryslers. I'll get some pictures up of the 02 prowler and 05 viper seen in the photo...love both of them and they compliment each other so well depending on what kind of driving mood i am in that day.
