Looking at buying some satin silver stock rims. The seller claims they are 20x9 all around and measure exactly 6" in the back spacing ( 25 mm offset )? Did they ever make them in these specs?
This, keep in mind is in Australia where we get the Euro models. But the only details I could find for his year (2008) was they should be 9" and 10" with the same offsets you guys get?

This is the photos provided.

The Aussie ones got 9" all round mate, not good, look ordinary.

And is it just me or in the second pic, either that wheel is half buried in the lawn or it's broken! LOL

The Yankee-Doodles got the staggered fitment, and polished. Personally, I'd hunt down a US set, unless those Oz ones are dirt cheap?

They look like Srt forged wheels, repos don't have SRT on the spoke, there should also be numbers stamped in the rim on the back side, I've never seen this grey color and I think they should be staggered 2x9 & 2x10...IDK about export models though

There's a chicky down the road from me who drives a green SRT with that fitment wheel on it, it looks SERIOUSLY under-wheeled and the offset is just all wrong. It looks like it has space savers on it.

You could maybe save it with bolt-on spacers, but they're illegal as you know.

They will be for my Hotrod project http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/WillysHotrod1.htm running 2008 WH running gear so will work fine as far as offsets go. Can the SRT's fit taller tyres with this sort of offset than stock WH/WK's? I dont want the rubber band look of low profile tyres on my Willy Jeep pickup. What sort of height can you run as stock is 29".

I'm well familiar with your build, i see you all over the Aussie Jeep forums ;) Why aren't more Aussies here? They don't seem at all interested in the new WKII either? I find that strange. lol
Anyway, I'm uncertain what you're asking re the heights? Sure the SRT wheels can take a taller tyre, surely you'll be deciding on what tyre height to go with once you've sorted your clearences?
Even with the unusual offset of the Aussie SRT wheels, the WK has the same tyre clearence issue with "The Bolt" clearance as all the others.

You guys got green SRT's?!?!
Yep, we did indeed, that dark green colour.

Asked him to put a straight edge across the back of the rim and measure down to the wheel mounting surface. He came back with 6" exactly so just hope he did it right. ;)
Using this chart here. https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html it give +25 offset for a 9" rim. Just thought it was odd as expected them to be the same offset as the front SRT's in the US with 34.75.
What tyre size does the SRT Aussie spec run at on these wheels?

I think it's 255/45/20.

And i too would be Very suprised if these wheels didn't match the US fronts.
In fact, I bet they are the same, and a mistake has been made measuring the offset...... my gut feel is the measurement was taken from the edge of the wheel rim instead of the inner edge of the bead, because the bead measures about 5m.

I asked if he would tell me all the marking it had on the back of the rim. This is what he came back with.
RS 151
2080
P+40
E0701
S1

Any one decipher these for me? I only guess but would have thought the P+40 would be the offset, but would not make sense with the 6" back spacing he measure for me?

hmm, never seen offset marked as p+40 before.. usually just +32 or something to that effect.

if they are SRT8 wheels then they must be from the old 2006-07 models and limited to RHD vehicles because around here its the same as the states the 08's came with 20x9 and 20x10 wheels and were polished (they also had "Alcoa forged" stamped into them)
I know Australia is a big country and this may not be possible, but if hes not too far off, then just why not just give him a visit and test fit the rims.. thats the only way you can be 100% sure.

you need to determine if the brakes on the WH SRT are different than the US WK model. If they are the same, the +25mm off-set will not work. I just bought aftermarket wheels for my Jeep that were on a SRT, and the off-sets were +32mm front and +45 rear, but that is on a 10" wheel. So IMO the off-sets would need to be +32mm at the minimum, unless the brembos are different in which case I like the wheels and you should get them if the $$$ is right. Good luck

do the put them on new jeeps over there with just primer on em? ;)
they look all ready for a nice blackchrome paint job:lol:
