Any tire wears on the inside if the camber isn't set correctly, not just runflats.
There are a bunch of people that are still using runflats. The aftermarket ones don't seem to pull you around as much on the highway as the stock ones did and ride a lot smoother. I have the Dunlop SP Sportmaxx in 275/315 and haven't noticed any abnormal wear to the inside. There are also a bunch of guys using the Bridgestone Dueler HP runflat in 275/315. The only issue I have heard about using them is that you need to get low profile bolts for the stock end links or bwoody endlinks since the tires are so wide and rub a little bit.
Awoken from the dead.... How these tires working out? Need new summer tires and need to decide. Vreds are being replaced, so looking for the next replacement. Let me know your thought on the toyos.
Um I have had the same set of toyos for almost two years now they have 30k miles on them and they are on their way out now. I have loved them. Such a smooth ride. I will get another set soon. IDK if they are a POS in spirited driving but its not like the VRED's grip.
