Exclamation 2014 GC Overland w/ 50"LED lightbar

Hey everyone, just added a 50" LED light bar to my 2014 Overland. Also recently threw on a Volant intake, Thule Aerobar Roofracks, 2 led blocks on rear roofrack, black emblems, and Nitto Terra Grappler G2s.. Hope you enjoy, ask any questions you'd like! I'm in the market for an exhaust, front bumper wwinch, and new wheels/tires. Please throw any suggestions my way!

Actually not bad, off the roofracks it bugs right up to the wind faring for the sunroof. I hear more noise from my snowboard/wakeboard rack than I do the light bar. I'll post a closer picture of it tomorrow!

Looks great. Who'd you buy it from? I'm thinking about getting one for my brush guard for when I go upstate to the Berkshire mountains where they don't believe in street lights.

Awesome.... How hard was the install and where'd you run the wires? Where is the on off switch?

Sorry for all the questions but you posted the pics and now you have to deal with them... Lol

If you could post some more pics of the interior switch mount and anything else I'd appreciate it.

Re: 2014 GC Overland w/ 50"LED lightbar

Haha I don't mind, I ran the wires down the side of my windshield. There is a crack between the glass and the frame which was enough room to slip the wire through. It then ran under the hood over to the fuse panel. I got the power from an open spot on the panel and used a wireless relay instead of a switch inside. I picked up power from the 12v cigarette lighter under my front center console and tucked the wireless relay in there as well. The 2-way wireless relay came with a key fob type remote to turn both the front and back lights on and off. I then linked that key fob to the garage door opener buttons already built into the jeep. It looks really clean and was super easy. I'll take a few pictures when I'm free tomorrow, I think I might also have a wiring diagram.

Re: 2014 GC Overland w/ 50"LED lightbar

Hope that wiring diagram works for you, my buddy helped me with the wiring and drew that up. I tried to take a picture of where the wireless relay is picking up the power under the center console, but didn't want to mess anything up ripping it out. From the power cord down into the hood it meets up with 2 wireless relays (that link up to the wireless relay that came with the remote under the center console) before entering the fuse panel. I have the rear lights on one relay and front light on the other. Hope this helps!

P.S. If you need me to upload a video tracing the wires from the fuse panel to the lights I will!

Just don't be like the idiot around here with the Range Rover that keeps his on while driving down the road. It's bad enough when he passes me in the Jeep, but it's murder when I'm driving the MX-5.
