Re: a story of Redemption

So in between bouts of being in bad and a terrible soccer weekend ( my so played quite possibly the worst game in his Goalkeeping life....)

I managed to get some interior led lighting installed ( i probably should have just gone to bed but .... I am stubborn that way . I am sure i will pay for this tomorrow)

here are the pics

Back seat

sorry about the crappy cell pics . My nerves have about had it and need to steam and rest

Re: a story of Redemption

A week or so ago I installed new tail lights and LED 's along with a set of small LED's I had for rock lights for my LJ. This is the first time I had the chance to take a picture of them at night .

Here is what they look like during the day

Here are the little rock lights I was talking about

Here is the night view .

Kinda hard to tell due to the constant changes. We have been making but what i can say is we put about 250 miles ( give or take) before we had to fill up. ( i am guessing at the milage) pgh to clev. And running between fields and other places.
I should get a better idea this weekend when we head to our next soccer tournament.
The speedo is about 10 mph off. And we traveled most of the way going about 80 mph.( corrected speed- gps recorded).

I will fill you in monday on what we find out.

Since the last update. We have installed, ported throttlebody, NGK cooler plugs, 180 thermostat. And a new tune, all new antifreeze, oil change.

More to come!

Re: a story of Redemption

What are the advantages of the 180* thermostat? I am due for a coolant flush and was considering swapping the t-stat at the same time. I'm a bit north of you in Erie, PA but do you think it would be worth the swap?

Thanks,
-Chris

Re: a story of Redemption

just like with a CAI , the cooler you can get the engine the more dense the fuel/air mixture the more HP/torque you can make . Yes , i do think its worth the swap. Heat is bad for a engine and the cooler you can keep it the better ( to a certain degree) .
I did it under recommendation of FlyinRyan he is doing my tuning . We did it as well with the Wranglers.
