I feel your pain. I had a beefed up Cherokee that I loved. After a severe motorcycle accident I had to sell it because I couldn't get into it. I now have a 2012 liberty with all the comforts of home. Still Jeep'n !

Sorry about the accident ! We ( when i was apart of the offroad club ) would help park cars at one of the local Motorcycle gatherings and I have alot of respect for those that ride on 2 wheels .

There is diffidently a nice side to the non- lifted route ,lol. the ride is so much better ,lol

Re: a story of Redemption

Your going to love those brakes! I have the exact same setup on my wk and love them. Even my wife prefers my brakes no vs before and wants the same ones put in her liberty! I did the silver g2 paint cause i didnt want it to be too flashy and ill do hers the same. The caliper paint and brakes still look like brand new and its been over 2 years since i did the brake job.

Awesome on the paint! We have the same ones on our commander. My wife loves them as well. We installed them last summer .

Re: a story of Redemption

I slapped on some brakes around Christmas money was tight, and knew when I was buying them they would be coming off in the spring. I think the standard brakes are good on the WK, but I tend to drive a bit hard so better brakes wouldn't be a bad thing. What kind are those, and where did you get them any info would be appreciated.

Re: a story of Redemption

G had a mohawk from the age of 5 till now ,lol . I am waiting for him to get one with the blue hair ,lol

Well , Brakes are on . I had one caliper sticking ,so a call to the local advance auto was necessary but they are on .

He wasnt able to paint the calipers due to the current temp. and the lovely 4" of snow we were expecting today ( and yep .... we got it) . The paint requires a 57* temp and 24 hours to dry .

No big deal , we can take care of that this spring / summer.

He also did the pinch weld Mod for me with a minor cracking of the inner fender well plastic that made the whole a little larger then necessary but what can you do ,lol

I will post pics as soon as I can .
