Re: A Teen at Work!

I know it has been a long time since I have posted and I'm not sure if anyone is even following this build, but my phone and my computer broke attempting to install a "stable" version of CM10.2 onto my phone. But that is for another forum.

Aside from that, I haven't stopped my work on my Jeep. I have done many more things to it such as: creating a shorty antenna, painted trim, much needed maintenance in preparation for winter, and more. I will get more into detail when I get my Nexus 5.

And what else? It's the holiday season! I'm banking on Santa dropping off a piece to my build!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

From my experience, the "work" on a jeep never stops - there's always something to do or another mod to make. But that's why we all chose a Jeep, right?

Santa loves Jeeps! Keep up the good work, and enjoy the holidays!

Re: A Teen at Work!

Well thanks guys! It's always more motivating to get things done when there are people supporting and it does mean a lot to me.

As I said, I am up to doing some general maintenance before the winter snow and salty roads hit. One of the things I have to show is my throttle body... The pictures will say it all.

It was dirty to say the absolute least, but I cleaned it really well and it came out nicely.

I do have a catch can to install, but I am having concerns due to the change in line diameter from the can to the valve. I have to figure it out soon, though.

Re: A Teen at Work!

My buddy got a picture of me driving, so I thought I would add it as I don't have too many action shots.

Re: A Teen at Work!

on Black Friday, I was able to snag some deals on parts. One would be the Superchips Vivid Linq tuner.

I have not done much other than install this along with the 91 Performance tune. I will have more of my opinions posted when I start driving some more! But, my first impressions on this product are definitely different than I thought they would be. The engine has an unexpected improved tone to it and the tuned shifting exceeds expectations.

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I know mine went pretty well and my WK is really gonna feel the love from it. I have some awesome things to post, but just as I was going to get work done, I got injured in my hockey game leaving me unable to use my right arm. I'm dying to get things done!

Re: A Teen at Work!

Okay, so I'm still only able to use one arm, buut before I got hurt, I placed my FlexoMat floor liners in. I did previously have liners in, but they didn't cover enough of the floor. I also picked these up for almost half off and they're pretty nice.

There is a view of the passenger side mats. Next up is hopefully my PAC Audio aux cord install, but I will probably have to wait until the injury gets a little better.

Re: A Teen at Work!

Once again, it has been quite some time since my last post, but here is an update:

I got a nice Rocky Road Outfitters differential guard from my best bud (of course I painted it red). Other than that, I have finished my PAC Audio custom aux cord install (writeup: Installing an AUX Input Adapter in Your WK) and am currently working on another mod that I will talk about when it's done.

Anyway, here is the guard:

Thanks, man. I like the look of a meaner Jeep, so that's the direction that I have been trying to head with my WK.
