Dirt bike fell on it. Handle bar hit the toe and took it right off. I lost about a quarter of my toe. Now my friends call it an ogre toe lol.

Nope not at all! Lol however the shot of demerol felt good. This accident totally changed my sleeping habits forever. I can no longer sleep on my back. It was too much when it was healing so now I sleep on my stomach w my feet hanging off. Happy fun times. Haha

Re: Battle Scar Thread

I have one of those too...

Following the repair:

Both of my fingernails were removed in the er, 14 stitches on the 2 fingers, fractured the bone on my ring finger.

Impatience caused this, doing exhaust work chrysler uses tabs welded onto their nuts for the collector hardware so as to keep the nut from spinning. Well it just bent the tab trying to remove it, I put a wrench on it and hit the bolt with my lovely 3/8ths impact the wrench slipped off and my fingers went into the chopsaw of a spinning tab. lesson learned. Could have been MUCH worse... I was also hourly at the time so it worked great, sortof.

this was the first time i had ever had any pain killer injected via needle... WOW, good stuff! I see how people get addicted to the feeling!

really? sleeping on your back hurt when it was healing? Having to do with the blood pressure?

Re: Battle Scar Thread

damn, you guys are crucial. I've had a busted lip here and there and got a face full of hot grease splatter this summer but none of that serious stuff. I've been fortunate (knock on wood) to not have broken any bones or gotten any stitches. I probably couldve used a stitch or two a few times but nothin a bandaid didn't fix. I've also had a bone splinter from a soccer collision and countless sprained ankles but nothing broken or chopped off.

Weird huh?! The covers hurt far more than the pressure of being upside down. Yea I've def done my share of breaks, sprains, tears and more. Def broken over a dozen bones. (fractures never all the way through) I've also had my left acl in my knee replaced w someone elses ligament. Yup, I'm super serial! Haha. I've slowed down these days. You feel it more when you're 31!! Haha
