i used mopar even though its super expensive. the dealer only gave me 2 qts which isn't quite enough plus i accidentally spilled some when filling so i went and bought some valvoline full synthetic to top it off and haven't had any problems (fingers crossed)...

Re: "BlackedOutWK" Build Thread

Yeah the only reason I don't want to go mopar is because it's super expensive. But it's probably the safest route

i think as long as you go full synthetic youll be okay. then again im no expert so you might want to reaseach a little more.

BlackedoutWK-

Do you recall the model # of the Solid differential cover you purchased?

I want to order one, as they are still on sale, but want to make sure I purchase the correct one. I plan on having my differential fluids changed soon, and figured that's a good time to install the cover.

Re: "BlackedOutWK" Build Thread

My bad, I found the answer. You helped me out a few weeks ago, and I totally forgot about it.

Did the cover come with the lube locker, or is that ordered seperately?

And, do I need anything else like a new rubber fill plug or anything?

Re: "BlackedOutWK" Build Thread

no lube locker was separate, you don't need it because the cover comes with a tube of rtv...but lube lockers are very nice.

the cover also comes with a threaded fill plug so you don't have to worry about that.

Excellent, thanks again for your help.

I'll probably buy the lube locker as well, just for some added protection of the seal.

Re: "BlackedOutWK" Build Thread

Replaced my hood strut yesterday.

Installed some 7w LED Cree reverse bulbs.

And got my hypertech update so finally got to play with some tuning! I like it so far, need to fiddle with it a little more.
