Clean interior + mods

The pollen around here has been RIDICULOUS lately and it's supposed to rain today so I decided to pull my '08 into the garage and clean the interior and decided to include some pics of all my mods to this point.

CUSTOM GRILLE

WINDOW VENTS AND SHORTY ANTENNA

CHROME PEDALS

CHROME DOOR GUARDS

SPLASH GUARDS

LEDs

NEFFY WRAP

The neffy was a total PITA to put on the center stack but otherwise went on pretty easily. For $75 I think it really improved the look of the interior. Before I had the silver-ish trim around the radio and the air controls which didn't look great against the dark slate interior. I think the CF look is a much better fit for dark slate.

I mean it wasn't the worst thing in the world but it was really tedious and patience is not one of my virtues. I also like to complain so that could be it too.

Seriously though if you just tell yourself it's going to take a while and you make sure you don't rush it it's not too bad. Careful with the adhesive spray though - make sure to lay down some news paper or something and swap it out regularly to prevent the excess from getting on the "good side" of the wrap that everyone will see.

Re: Clean interior + mods

Very nice. I know what you mean re: pollen. I think we've got all the 'volcanic ash' coming down, as soon as I wash her she's covered in dust making just drying off difficult.

Nice job with the neffy wrap on the interior! I always kinda though CF vinyl on interior parts looked tacky but that stuff really does look the part - prefer wood myself though, I'm old skool...

Like them pedals too, I gotta find a decent set for mine. Had them on the last whip...

Can't believe the metal door guards don't come standard, very nice though and give a good first impression!
