Re: Combats Build Thread

Today I just purchased the SRT8 front bumper kit, side rocker moldings, SRT8 Front Grille, Mopar Rear Spoiler(Primed), rear bumper absorber, right and left bumper tail lamps and some clips from Just for Jeeps. I didn't purchase the rear bumper from them because last week I found a purchased a cheap OEM SRT8 bumper I found on Ebay for $200.00.

Note: My Girlfriend bought the body kit for me as a christmas present!! Thank God for her!!

The rear bumper was so cheap because it had a small puncture in it. The owner said his insurance bought him a new rear SRT8 bumper and thats why he decided to sell it so cheap. Anyways I bought it in hopes that it could be repaired. Heres the picture, looks like a minor puncture, and best its the color of my Jeep. So I save about $600 dollars buy getting this one.

I also just purchased a new badge from Nate, below you can see what it will look like. I think it will fit in just nice with the new SRT8 Body Kit

Re: Combats Build Thread

Well the Inertia performance heads and cam are installed.

Picture1- You can't really the notice the inertia performance heads, but they are there.

Picture 2- Shows the Srt8 Manifolds that will be going in, the guy told me they are kind of like shorty headers. You can also see the comparison of how they are compared to my old exhaust manifolds that were taken off. Those old ones looked really rusty.

Picture3- Shows A part of the SRT8 exhaust system, which hasn't been installed yet because they are awaiting a part. You can see how it compares to my old exhaust, in which I will be getting rid off very soon.

Picture4- Is just me saying good by to her.

Re: Combats Build Thread

Some more pictures, had long day and pretty tired, so this is all I will say.

I ended up going with the Borla exhaust system, 4' tips all a round, and had them fitted to my 5.7 with the SRT8 rear bumper that I will be installing when it is repaired and repainted. I didn't get to much time to stay at the shop; however, I did manage to take these pics in a hurry. I know they are no the best, but thats ok, because I will be back tomorrow for the finish up, along with the dyne tune. Then hopefully Ill be posting some real numbers. I was very amazed on how great this is turning out. Hope you like! GN
