Ok here you go!
Here is the bracket I made to bolt to the tank.
The three bolt holes are threaded but I didn't trust them so I used a bolt and a nut. That way I knew the bolts wouldn't just strip out and leave the tank bouncing down the road behind me!
I plugged the two bottom holes and attached a hose to the top.
Here is how it all goes together. I passed the winch end through the spare and then the mount. I bolted the mount to the tank and ran the holes through one of the spaces in the wheel.
At this point it is ready to hoist up.
On the way up I made sure to run the hose over the crossmember for the track bar.
Instal a quick disconnect in the hose to make dropping the spare easy and then run the hose to the pump.
As you can see the tank is high enough up and out of the way to keep it from impacting rocks, logs, or whatever else you will be going over. And if something does happen to kiss it, well the thing is steel so it shouldn't be a problem!
