Mine also received its first extremely annoying mark over the weekend.
I always back up to and line up my car trailer by myself using a mixture of my brain and the backup sensors. Not once have I had an issue.
Anyway, this time a mate "helped", and was in such a tither after about not getting it right after five attempts he guided the trailer right into my rear bumper, about three inches to the right of the hitch! LOL
Needless to say my eye diverts straight to the spot every time I walk up to the Jeep now
i hate the garage- phucking lumbnutts for brains. theyre paid strictly to move cars around and yet still ding up this that and the other. i dont care for excuses either. phuck that.
i just got my garage reimbursment last friday for 570 for breaking off my passenger side mirror. i ripped him to pieces on the phone then in person. i wasnt going to be another victim to their games.
on their dime for sure! phucking icon parking! lolz
you know whats funny too, when christmas comes along guess whos not going to get any christmas spirit??? those garage guys. theres only one guy that everyone there knows i like (hes young and good peoples)-it also helps he sweats the SRT and keeps in good places for me when i pick it up. that guy im going to toss a hundo to for the years work. and let him tell the other ****ers what wouldve came if you just DO YOUR PHUCKING JOB!
it may seem like im pissed but im over it, im just a lil intoxicated for message boards- rage is def beside me- lolz:thumbsup:
damn man, that sucks. I had some rock damage to my 11 overland about a week after i got it. Either someone threw rocks at the side of the jeep or i drove over gravel and it shot up into the door, if not that then who knows but the gravel took a chunk out of one of the rims and put two dents on the side. Not cool. Had the rim replaced for about 500 and the dents knocked out but still need the paint to be touched up. Thats sucked. I feel your pain.
Aww, that stinks Joe! But I am surprised it took this long to get your first garage hit! Now you'll just have to take lots more picts after it's fixed, when it's all purty again!
Sorry to hear this Joe,
it's not only about the money, you have to lose the Jeep while it's in the shop, make all the arrangements etc. The first cut is the deepest...at least they manned up, and didn't try and say you did it
haaaaa thats the damage? I wish thats all I had on my rig, and Joe your in the big apple! Get a clear bra/car cover asap if you can. I really want a garage myself, would save a ton of the damage I have, because daily street parking = side swipes, backed into on both sides and being keyed along with the bird shit and tree sap and soo much more its ridiculous. A garage would solve all of that
^No clear bra. I am going to buy the PPG ceramiclear and give it to the bodyshop to use. And sorry Ant even though its that minimal, I pay 500 a month for a garage for that not to happen. Me living in the Big Apple has nothing to do with anything. If I left it out in the street and that happened, I wouldnt make a big deal over it. Ya dig?
True, I wasn't sure if by garage you meant a local auto shop, I jumped to an assumption, but being as now I see you're referring to the people who park your car so THIS DOESNT HAPPEN did it, hahaa I can see why you'd be irked. Glad to see they're handling it properly as they should, I mean it was their fault lmao, all good, not parking on the street FTMFW!
Well its going in the shop at Final Touch Collision (Peeps who did Mario's truck) on the 30th of Sept. I must say that place is very very professional and Robert the owner showed me around the shop. I feel very comfortable about leaving my truck there. Also I'm looking into having a few more parts painted. We'll see though.
