Re: DKDunn's Build Thread

Finally got around to debadging the jeep today
Just used a hair dryer, floss, and some bug and tar remover. The badges came off really easy and its a super simple mod to clean up the back of the jeep.
I also took a couple of night shots of my LED tails and LED reverse bulbs
Ill have to get better pictures of the back debadged, it got late.

Re: DKDunn's Build Thread

Haha you can see them sitting in the box in the garage. But to be honest I was going to open them up this thursday on my day off, I just moved into my new condo so its been a little crazy. I have to get the 9006 relay harness too because I ordered the wrong one. I plan on opening them up and doing all my cutting and test fit the projectors then paint the inside black except the high beam housing. Im debating on wether or not to buy the angel eye kit

Dont worry though ill be updating this each step of the way

Re: DKDunn's Build Thread

Update

Its been awhile but the Ported TB made a considerably difference. I can feel a big difference when I take off quick from a stop and when I have to get on it to pass someone. No problems with it at all since the install. Ryan explained everything, including how long the engine light would stay on for until the computer adjusted to the new TB.

Ive sprayed my rear step with bed liner
Plasti Dipped the grill and the wheels(turned out great)
Full led interior including vanity lights(pics tomorrow)

Im itching to get a 08-10 SRT or a 10-11 GC

Heres a few pics of the plasti dipped wheels. Ill get some more pics tomorrow after I wash it.

After the final coat

Re: DKDunn's Build Thread

Update...

Today is the day im getting my led tails back from Scott. He painted them a med tint so I can't wait to see how they will look on the jeep. Also, my 6k Led fogs should be in too. I will post pictures up tonight.

In the mean time here is a pic of the jeep after I took off the roof rails. I filled the holes with silicone and plugged them with the christmas tree pins.
